Choosing the right running track surface: full-pour vs spray-coat
A practical guide to IAAF-class running tracks — when to invest in a full-pour PU system and when a spray-coat is the smarter spec.

It starts with the user
A school playground, a club training track and a national stadium have very different shock-absorption, lifespan and budget requirements. Match the system to the user — not the other way around.
Full-pour PU systems
Best for elite training and competition. Uniform shock pad, exceptional energy return, 10–15 year lifespan with minimal maintenance.
Spray-coat systems
Cost-efficient and fast to install. Excellent for schools and community tracks where moderate use is expected. Resurfacing every 5–7 years keeps performance high.
